RECOMMENDATION: That Council direct staff to send the application to the APC and the Select Committees for comment; and the Council request, through the CRD Parks and CRD Board to confirm whether they wish to acquire the land proposed for donation to CRD Parks as shown in application RZ-07-08.

RE: WEST SHORE PARKS AND RECREATION SOCIETY 2009 BUDGET (7710-02)

RECOMMENDATION: 1) Approve the 2009 West Shore Parks and Recreation Society Operating Budget; and 2) Encourage West Shore Parks and Recreation member municipalities to meet with the West Shore Parks and Recreation Society to discuss funding solutions for capital projects. Further that for such a meeting West Shore Parks and Recreation provide technical details on all of the pending capital projects, including prioritization, project timelines and the impacts of not funding the projects.
