RECOMMENDATION: THAT Council direct staff to send the proposed amendment, pursuant to section 879 of the Local Government Act (consultation opportunities) to the CRD Board (also for Unincorporated Areas of Willis Point and Malahat), Councils of City of Langford, Town of View Royal, and District of Saanich, First Nations of Tsartlip and Songhees, School Districts 61, 62 and 63, and the province’s Intergovernmental Relations and Planning Division.
