New Burning Restrictions - October 1, 2025
Campfire permits are now open in the Highlands and the remainder of outdoor burning permits are scheduled open on October 15th (weather dependant).
ALL outdoor fires in the Highlands require a permit…for a FREE burning permit please go to
New Burning Restrictions are effective July 14, 2025
The Fire Rating is High/Extreme.
All burning is now closed. This includes campfires.
No burning permits will be issued until October 15, 2025 or until further notice.
