Take notice that the Council of the District of Highlands will consider adopting a bylaw exempting certain assessments from the 2026 taxation year, under the authority of Section 224(2)(a) of the Community Charter.
The purpose of “Permissive Tax Exemption Bylaw No. 432, 2021, Amendment No. 1 (Schedule A), Bylaw No. 468, 2025” is to exempt the non-profit organization listed below, to the extent indicated, from property tax imposed under section 197(1)(a) of the Community Charter for the 2026 taxation year.
